  Brief Introduction to Dr. Andrey ZAITSEV

  Dr. Andrey ZAITSEV, soil ecology expert, deputy editor of Applied Soil Ecology, has published more than 50 SCI papers in more than 10 journals such as Ecology and Soil Biology and Biochemistry. He is currently employed by Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of Russian Academy of Sciences, focuses on the research of soil detritus food webs and soil space ecological processes. For many years, he carries out lots of international cooperation in soil ecology with Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the Philippines. Now, he is devoted to the construction of soil detritus food network model, the role of soil animal in the realization of ecosystem function, and the research on the process and mechanism of soil animal diversity maintenance.
